Silknet of Georgia selects SysMaster’s Advanced IPTV Set Top Box
Walnut Creek, California 11 March 2013 – SysMaster, a supplier of advanced technology to the Broadcast and Broadband industry, has announced that it will deliver its Tornado M80 IP Set-top box to Silknet of Georgia.
SysMaster and Silknet work in tandem to upgrade Silknet’s IPTV service to next generation STB’s, offering advanced graphics and HTML5 and Youtube support with the Tornado M80.
This partnership will create an enhanced experience for current and new Silknet subscribers. With the SysMaster solution, Silknet will be able to offer subscribers a state of the art High-definition graphical user interface with crisp HD video display for live TV programming, as well as interactive Video on Demand and Time-shift television applications.
The Tornado M80 is a market leading compact, multi-format High Definition IP set-top box for Cable, IPTV, WebTV/OTT, Video-On-Demand and Home Media applications. Tornado M80 complements Silknet’s efforts to develop a fully-functional, high quality TV experience. The Tornado M80 utilizes Webkit browser, has a powerful and flexible JavaScript engine and simultaneously supports AES and Verimatrix Conditional Access System.
