Digital Signage System
Media provider requires real-time digital signage and advertising services that are integrated with media billing and serving system. In addition, the system should be able to display both static and streaming video and audio contents and allow local caching. SysMaster Digital Signage system offers real-time video and audio streaming, integrated advertising object billing, and local media player caching.
Digital Signage Server
Digital Signage is a robust and scalable server for centralized management of digital signage networks. Digital Signage enables providers to manage the complete workflow of digital signage networks, including creation of playlists, distribution of content, and management of media players. Digital Signage is pre-integrated with SysMaster’s Tornado M60 Digital Media Center PC for a complete digital signage solution.

Digital Signage System
Real-time audio and video streaming
SysMaster Digital Signage system offers real-time audio and video streaming using the most popular TS, ASF, UDP, and TCP distribution methods and common codec types. The system offers great variety of streaming types from static, pre-recorded files and dynamic video streams such as online TV channels.
Serving of multiple media object types
SysMaster Digital Signage system supports multiple object types such as the most popular digital picture, audio, and video file types. All these various object types can be mixed within a layout to match any specific custom requirement. The rotation of all media types is also fully automated and and centrally controlled.
Customizable adverting space layouts
SysMaster Digital Signage system allows the customers to define their own custom layout to display digital signage content. The layout can have up to 5 space segments and 255 image display layouts. The layout is based on HTML page definition and can be controlled and changed in real-time.
Integrated Billing for advertisers and players*
SysMaster Digital Signage system includes Content Management Server to allows advertising content billing and control. Every server or client targeted adverting can be separately billed for. IN addition, multiple types of billing plans are supported such as CPM, CPC, and period based billing.*
Local caching of media content
SysMaster Digital Signage system allows local caching of media content to reduce network bandwidth utilization and facilitate stand-alone digital signage content display. The system can also be centrally forced to refresh cached content in real-time if necessary.
Customizable software features
SysMaster Digital Signage system includes a M60 digital media center that is an advanced PC computer that runs Linux. This device can be easily programmed by the customers to include customized software or change the behavior of the existing software. The device has a built-in hard drive that allows virtually unlimited storage for third-party software.
Advanced advertising targeting*
SysMaster Digital Signage system offers targeted advertising for M60 digital media centers, whereas every M60 can receive custom layout and custom content. This allows targeted media advertising hat are based on specific customer requirements.*
Usage of advanced M60 digital media center
SysMaster Digital Signage system includes an advanced Intel-based PC computer that runs Linux. The computer includes specialized software that is called Digital Medial Center. The software supports advanced functions and is fully integrated with the SysMaster Content Management System to allow easy product deployment and centralized management. If the customers require they may change the digital media software with their own, or simply install additional software that runs on Linux and uses standard x86 architecture. The M60 computer has a large built-in hard drive, a PCI card and multiple USB ports to allow universal application deployment. The video ports are S-Video and VGA and stereo audio output. The device can display Standard and High-Definition video and stereo audio. If HDMI port is required, the device can include a specialized HDMI PCI video card.*
Advanced Content Management Server control *
SysMaster Digital Signage system includes Content Management Server that allows centralized management for all digital media features. The customers can easily and intuitively manage layouts, media objects, channel scheduling, advertising targeting, object access and management. The same system is also used to manage static and dynamic video and audio streams and allow IPTV,VOD, PPV, PVR and other functions.*
100+ Over-The-Top (OTT) and Free-To-Air (FTA) Channel Support *
The server includes over 100 built-in OTT and FTA channels that allow service jump-start with a large number of pre-defined channels. In addition, the OTT channels do not require bandwidth support because the STB devices will access them directly without connecting to the Streaming server. OTT and FTA channels are great IPTV service complement that provides better channel variety and selection.

Playlists Support
Digital Signage supports the creation and management of playlists which set the sequence of content to be displayed by a particular Tornado M60 Digital Media Player. Each playlist can be associated with one or more digital media players. Additionally, each playlist is associated with one content layout.
Easy Content Management and Distribution
Digital Signage offers easy to use content management and distribution functionality. Using a browser based interface, administrators can create content objects, define playlists and content layouts. Then with a click of a button, they can distribute new content to one or more Tornado M60 digital media players over IP networks.
Support for Streaming and Recorded Content
Digital Signage can manage the delivery of both streaming and recorded content to the Tornado M60 digital media players. Both types of content are handled as content objects by the server and content can be added to playlists and then distributed to the digital media players. Additionally, streaming content can be programmed to play for a particular period of time, allowing recorded content to be rotated alongside streaming content.
Multiple Content Layouts Support
Digital Signage supports the creation and management of multiple content layouts which define how content will be displayed by the media player. Each layout consists of one media player windows and up to three side windows. The player window can only display streaming or recorded content. The side windows can display static, dynamic or animated content delivered via a webpage. Layouts can be assigned to each media player individually via playlists.
Scalable Architecture
Digital Signage offers high scalability to support the growth of our customers. From single digital signage to enterprise-wide implementation, the server can manage hundreds, even thousands of media players deployed worldwide. Customers can expand their digital signage networks at any time by easily adding additional digital media players to the Digital Signage server.
Support for RSS Feeds
Digital Signage enables RSS feeds to be displayed at digital signage locations. The RSS feeds are delivered to the Tornado M60 digital media players via web pages. Such web page can be set to display in one or more of side windows defined in the content layouts. Such technological solution allows maximum flexibility, as changes to the RSS feed can be done either via the Digital Signage server, or via the webpage that displays the original feed.
Remote Administration
Digital Signage offers intuitive web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for remote system administration. Upon logging in the GUI via a web browser, customers can create/modify playlists, distribute content, and manage the media players. Remote administration allows lowering operational costs by outsourcing server management to third parties.
