VoIP SoftPhone is a state-of-the-art telephony application which offers the functionality of a high-end telephone system from the convenience of user’s PC desktop. The VoIP softphone can be used in place of IP phones and is designed to be an integral element of several SysMaster solutions, including IP Centrex, Hosted PBX, Virtual Office, Broadband VoIP, and more. Embedding cutting edge technologies, like NAT traversal, centralized setup and provisioning, and centralized address book management, SysMaster VoIP SoftPhone ensures simple and intuitive telephony experience for all end users.

SIP/H.323 VoIP Softphone Versions with NAT Traversal

VoIP SoftPhone comes in both SIP and H.323 version, both of which support multiple voice codecs. To ensure flawless working behind NAT, SysMaster has embedded state-of-the-art NAT traversal technology in both versions.

Customizable VoIP Softphone Skins and Phone Profiles

VoIP SoftPhone supports web based customizable skin templates. The functionality allows clients to update the underlying HTTP and image files and create customized/private label softphones. Additionally, clients can create multiple phone profiles with different design, language, and functionality and use them to target different customer groups.

Centralized VoIP Softphone Setup, Provisioning, and Management

VoIP SoftPhone offers centralized setup, provisioning and management which enable service providers to easily scale up their implementations once they distribute softphones to end-users. The following softphone parameters can be controlled centrally: skin design, language, currency, programmable soft buttons, codec implementation, automated caller id distribution, prefix management, extension number management, and inactivity registration timeout.

Direct Address Book Import

VoIP SoftPhone can import directly active contact database from MS Outlook Express, Outlook, and Lotus Notes Clients. Once imported, the contact database can be stored on a remote server to allow remote retrieval and management.

USB Phone Support

VoIP SoftPhone supports non-proprietary USB phones manufactured by SysMaster Corporation. Using the USB phones, users can easily dial out or accept incoming calls. The USB phones can be dynamically plugged into PCs and can interface with running ActiveX SoftPhone applications.

Centralized Address Book Management

VoIP SoftPhone supports global access to all centrally stored address books so that travelers and business users can conveniently retrieve their contacts from any location with Internet access. Upon application startup, all contacts from the central address book are retrieved and those contacts can be used for outbound calling, caller ID, and inbound call services.

Direct Access to User Account Balance and Call History

VoIP SoftPhone allows single-click, direct access to the caller account balance and call history via programmable buttons. This feature enables callers to view their account balance and call history without visiting the provider's web site.

Access to Voice Mail, Conference, and Advanced PBX Services

VoIP SoftPhone allows advanced access to PBX functionality via an API module. The product can directly manage Voicemail, Conference, Parked Calls, Calls on Hold, and ACD calls.

Customizable Soft Buttons

VoIP SoftPhone supports four customizable soft buttons to allow language/functionality changes. The button settings can be changed in real-time and can be customized for each individual profile.

History of Outgoing, Incoming and Missed Calls

VoIP SoftPhone offers complete call history for all outgoing, incoming and missed calls. All records are matched against the existing contact database and callers are identified by their names.

PBX Functionality Support and Soft Buttons

VoIP SoftPhone supports Advanced PBX functionality and eleven programmable soft buttons in PBX mode distribution. The SoftPhone can be used to interact with the PBX system and manage inbound and outbound call flow. The programmable buttons allow easy integration with third-party PBX systems.

Caller ID/PIN Authentication and Authorization

VoIP SoftPhone supports Caller ID and PIN authentication and call authorization to guarantee the security of SIP and H.323 communications. PIN and Caller ID data is authenticated and subsequent calls are authorized on a pre and post paid basis to ensure account billing integrity.
