Video and Audio Streaming with MPEG4, MP3, AAC, and PCM Compression
SysMaster iptvSwitch is designed for high-quality audio and video streaming. The product supports MPEG4, MP3, AAC and PCM compression for optimal video and audio performance. It also offers advanced stream management services with support for multi-subscriber and multi-stream environments.
Optimized Video MPEG4/MP3 Conversion for Low-Bit Rates
SysMaster iptvSwitch can convert video files or feeds to an optimized, low-bit rate MPEG4 streams for efficient bandwidth utilization. With such level of compression, video streams can use as low as 750kbps bandwidth/stream at 640x480 VGA resolution. The product can convert virtually any file format, such as AVI, MPEG1, and MPEG2 to MPEG4 (video) and MP3 (audio) formats.
Multi-Stream, Multi-Subscriber Support
SysMaster iptvSwitch can support multiple streams and multiple subscribers. A single server can handle up to 50 subscribers simultaneously connected to a single stream (multi-subscriber). It can also serve up to 100 concurrent streams (multi-stream). In total, a single iptvSwitch can deliver content to as many as 1000 subscribers (video, audio mode with subtitles).
Stream Caching and Bandwidth Optimization
SysMaster iptvSwitch supports stream caching which significantly reduces overall bandwidth utilization. That functionality allows a single stream to be retrieved from an online source, cached locally, and then redistributed to subscribers. Besides bandwidth savings, such technological solution also improves service availability for the original content provider.
HTTP/TCP Stream Support
SysMaster iptvSwitch supports HTTP/TCP streaming for individual content distribution to subscribers. This mode is usually used in distributed environments (WAN) where the service provider does not provide Internet access to his subscribers. This mode allows global content distribution to any subscriber who has high speed Internet access.
UDP Unicast and Multicast Stream Support
SysMaster iptvSwitch offers unique UDP multicast mode where one stream can service virtually unlimited number of LAN subscribers with very low Local Area Network bandwidth utilization. In multicast mode every media packet is send once in a broadcast fashion so that every subscriber can get it without creating an individual link to the streaming server.
Scheduled Stream Channel and Object Management
SysMaster iptvSwitch offers scheduled stream management which enables the provision of different streaming services such as Live-television, Live-streaming, Pay per View, Video on Demand, Audio on Demand, and Online Radio services. All content distribution can be distributed in a channel or object mode with schedule control and media content insertion capabilities.
Subscriber Authentication and Stream Encryption Services
SysMaster iptvSwitch supports advanced authentication services to ensure that only authorized subscribers obtain access to its media distribution channels. The switch verifies all media retrieval requests with a Media Billing server before providing content to any new subscriber. For increased security, the iptvSWITCH encrypts all media channels using MD5 encryption so that only authorized subscribers can access the streaming content.
Live Feed MPEG4 Encoding from Virtually any Source
SysMaster iptvSwitch offers optional live-stream encoding to MPEG4 format from virtually any source including live TV, cable, satellite feed (via optional TV tuner cards), or media files in different formats. The system can provide up to 3 conversion channels on a single switch with built-in TV tuner cards.multicast mode every media packet is send once in a broadcast fashion so that every subscriber can get it without creating an individual link to the streaming server.
